I taught Abby how to do this. I just didn't know at the time what I was teaching her. It's actually a great thing because if she is in a funk sometimes we can help her be happy again by asking if she wants to jump off her bed. (I realize that in the future I may actually find that this is a bad idea. Until then I am swimming in ignorant bliss.) Many times she stands right on the edge of the window and just stays there for a while, perfectly balanced. She's amazing! Sometimes she'll wait for the count down, "Ready, set, go!" Other times she just says part of it, sometimes there's a, "WEE" at the bottom of her fall. I may have said this before, but I will probably say it all my life, Abby is the Spirit of Adventure.
