After a little trip from belgium to france, we arrived at about 10 oclock with nowhere to stay.  Cody had gotten a place for us to stay the next night, but the first night there, nothing.  So we decided to head out towards a place that was a camp ground area.  I wasn´t too sure about just camping in some random park cause it was such a big city that anything could happen.  on our way out there, we noticed that there was tons of forest area and there weren´t alot of people around.  We decided to check it out.  We ended up sleeping in some random forest area about half a mile outside of the arc de triumph.  it was awesome.  We were happy that it was raining so that people might not bother us. 

When we woke up in the morning, there was some dude outside picking up trash.  he said something to me, but i just said je no parle pas francais and he walked away.  so we took off pretty quick.  we didn´t have too many plans for the day except to meet up with cody.  so we walked down the champs elysees, saw the eiffel tower, tried to go into a museum which they would not allow us in because of our back packs (or were just discriminating once again because of our beards).  it was raining all day, so we got totally drenched and it was actually kind of miserable. 

after we meet up with cody we just decided to head out to the place where we were going to stay and later went out to see the eiffel tower at night.  it was gorgeous.  we got there right at 10 oclock and so they started to do these flashy lights all over the tower for about 10 minutes.  you could see the river kind of glowing from the lights and the boats going down the seine river.  i wish i could have had a girl there with me to enjoy it better.  it truely is a romantic city.  (atleast they act like it cause we saw several couples making out at any random place or time)
