what is wrong with the united states?  belgian waffles are probably the best thing that i have ever tried in my life.  i think that all of the missionaries must come back from belgium with big bellies becuase they eat several each day.  ben and i progressivly ate bigger and bigger ones.  first we started off just trying it.  and we were like wow this is good.  then we walked around for a bit saw the grand square which really was pretty amazing.  then we went and saw the mannekin pis which was really small and not all that cool.  then on are way just walking around we decided to get a waffel with belgian chocolate on it.  wow that was even more amazing.  (mind you this was our lunch).  then we went to an awesome park right in the city that you couldn´t even hear anything in the city.  it was really really pretty.  we walked around and saw lots of things that we don´t really know what they were and i throughly enjoyed it.  this was on our way out to paris, so we only had a few hours, but it was alot of fun.  oh yeah and on our way out we decided to have a waffel with chocolate and icecream.  i was starting to get sick at this point, but i didn´t really care because they were so stinking good. 

some day we will figure out the secret of the waffels.
